Can we get an interim injunction on the basis of an EU trademark?

Yes. For instance, in Germany it is possible to obtain an interim injunction (aka preliminary injunction or temporary injunction) on the basis of an EU trademark within days. As a result, German courts can prohibit an infringement of a EU trademark at short notice. And even better, under certain circumstances, such prohibition can have EU-wide effect.
